We Love Our Volunteers

A group of volunteers founded the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in 1895 and we still rely today on many volunteers to make the music—and the magic—happen.

Each season, volunteers contribute over 4,500 hours to support CSO performances and events. Volunteers choose to donate their time for a variety of reasons: a passion for music and the arts, a desire to give back, and for opportunities to meet others who share their interests.

Join our dedicated community of volunteers and share your love of music with the world.

Ways To Volunteer

Student Ambassadors

The next generation of professional musicians and arts administrators is right here in Cincinnati. Student Ambassadors from several local universities and colleges work together to raise awareness about the CSO and promote upcoming concerts to their classmates.

Office Assistance

Lighten the load by helping out in the CSO office! Volunteers assist staff with various projects, including mailings, data input, and event support. Let us know about your skills and passions so we can find the best fit.
